Responsibilities
Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc- Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers- Optimizes system operations and resources utilization, and performs system capacity analysis and planning- Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems- Manages the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems- Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems- Provides assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems- Provide analysis, evaluation and implementation of IAVA security patches- Preferred: Detail your experience of the Linux O/S with respect to installation, network connectivity, configuration and hardening and diagnosis of problems- Preferred: Detail your experience with databases preferences on installation, integration and troubleshooting- Preferred: Experience with VMWARE or virtualization products
Requirements
Basic Qualifications -
Five (5) years system administration experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
The System Administrator provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Position requires TS/SCI w/poly
The selected candidate must have:
At least 5 years system administration experience including application administration.
Familiarity with installing, configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting common GOTS and COTS software.
At least 5 years troubleshooting software installations and operations.
Fundamental understanding of computer networks and be able to identify, troubleshoot, and document network connectivity and performance issues.
At least 5 years analyzing and correcting data flow issues within systems.
Experience in understanding network diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot dataflow and computer system related issues.
Experience configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads OS software
Willing to perform shift work
Skills / Domain Knowledge -
Experience in contributing to the development of sections of engineering documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures
Working knowledge of enterprise dataflow and NiFi.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
