DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will develop, establish, and maintain all aspects of the project schedule effort on one or more of the larger, more complex and demanding facility construction projects for a major government client. The PCE/PCS will perform the following functions for Government construction projects:

Prepare, develop and coordinate integrated master schedules between Parsons, the client and subcontractors, to ensure all program milestones are met.

Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems, with respect to schedule, resources, and time allotted on the project.

Ensure major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across Parsons functional groups performing the work, and with the client. Will perform resource loading onto schedules per management direction.

Will analyze, evaluate and forecast project schedules, milestone completion and measure/report on items.

Accumulates and accesses historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting, and will

Identify and assess program risks and issues and provide ad hoc reporting to staff and client as necessary.

Utilize a variety of project management techniques, such as Gantt charts, milestone charts and Earned Value methodology to gauge and identify performance variances.

Will maintain and control project baselines and provided critical path analysis and reporting.

Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts current status against an established baseline schedule. Assesses the impact(s) of design or construction changes and schedule slippages. Reports schedule status to all levels of project and Company management as well as to the Client.

Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports.
Provides project and company management with the necessary tools for project control. May participate in the development of the work breakdown structure, interfacing with all affected departments.
Coordinates staffing requirements, assigns and supervises project work activities, and trains personnel. Completes performance reviews and provides personnel development for the assigned employees.
Customizes project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
May serve as a Chief Project Control Engineer, if project requirements dictate.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
4-year degree in Engineering, Business or Construction Management (or related field) and 5-10 years of related project controls/scheduling work experience. Prefer candidates with experience managing costs/financials for facility construction/facility upgrade projects valued at up to $10M.

Prefer experience with PRISM and CostPoint and must have scheduling experience in Primavera, P6.

Experience with resource loaded scheduling.

Prefer experience working with Government clients and classified material.

US Citizenship required. Must have ACTIVE TS/SCI security clearance with full scope polygraph examination. Prefer local candidates.
Proficient PC skills including a proficiency in various software used in the Project Controls Department, such as Excel. Leadership potential, as well as familiarity with industry practices is required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
