## Position Description
The Boeing National Security Programs Team in Annapolis Junction MD is seeking an experienced Multi-Media Graphics Designer to work on a growing portfolio of intelligence, cyber security, and leading edge technologies. Become a member of an exciting team responsible for interacting with users to derive needs and create mockups to demonstrate alternate solutions and extensibility in the development of product prototypes and enhancements to an existing suite of tools.
Requires:
Minimum 6 years in this or a related field, with a strong background in task analysis and user interface design. A formal education in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, HCI, Architecture, or related field,
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript,
Understanding of the design and technical constraints of developing web-browser based User Interfaces,
Demonstrated ability to work iteratively with customers to gather and document user experience requirements,
Strong ability to support a number of development activities concurrently,
A high degree of creativity, interaction design, and problem solving abilities,
Ability to communicate complex ideas to a wide range of audiences,
Demonstrated ability to design compelling and intuitive user interfaces,
Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail,
Must be able to partner and communicate with Software Engineers,
Expertise in visual or graphic design using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalents.
Prefer:
Prototyping skills,
Knowledge of Usability testing,
Understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards.
