Job Description: Raytheon is seeking Mid level Software Engineers to support our Annapolis Junction Customer; these are immediate needs. Qualified applicants should have 5-7 years of general experience in computer science, information systems, and/or network engineering . Required
Experience: 3 years experience coding in C, assembly, or similar languages in Linux or Unix (Linux is a plus). Use of software integrated development environment such as Visual Studio or Eclipse. Use of software integrated development environment such as Visual Studio or Eclipse. Knowledge of TCP/IP network protocols, software compilers, operating systems, or device drivers. Demonstrated ability to: Develop software modules based upon designs, develop / execute software unit tests, use software repository such as subversion, CVS. Ability to report progress in email, wiki, other tools, document high level design, and plan / develop integration tests. Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, or related discipline, and 2 years of experience, or 6 years of relevant experience. Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information.
