Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is experienced in Java and JavaScript to join our DataRunner teamYou will be a full-time member supporting a team of 8 membersAs a member of this team, you will perform the below tasks:
o Provide recommendations for new technologies and processes for complex software projects Serve as the technical lead of multiple software development teams Select the software development process in coordination with the customer and system engineering Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software Delegate programming and testing responsibilities to one or more teams and monitor their performanceQualifications The Software Engineer, Senior Advisor, shall have at least the following
Experience:
o TS/SCI clearance with polygraph clearance is required.
Twelve (12) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
o A minimum of 6 years of recent development experience.
Recommend new technologies and processes for complex software projectsSelect the software development process in coordination with the customer and system engineeringEnsure quality control of all developed and modified softwareDelegate programming and testing responsibilities to one or more teams and monitor their performance.
Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
JavaScript, Java with strong UI background.
Experienced working in a Linux development environment.
Springboot, jquery, JavaScript, CSS are the primary technologies.
Working with Bootstrap, Bootstrap-table, Ploty.

Experience:
o Use of Velocity Templates and their dependencies on Jersey is currently part of our environment, however, Springboot will make these moot as we migrate away.
