Information Systems Security Officer 2 (ISSO2)- TS/SCI with Poly with Security Clearance

This opening is for Information Systems Security Officer 2 to support a critical mission of consequence within our Cyber Mission Business UnitThe selected candidate will perform security scans to identify vulnerabilities and risks, and work with Engineering team to mitigate the risksThe candidate is required to have experience with ensuring systems successfully complete the Assessments & Authorization (A&A) process
Responsibilities:
o Plan and coordinate the IT security programs policies.o Manage and control changes to the system and assessing the security impact of those changes.o Obtain C&A for ISs under their purview.o Provide support of r a program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program.o Serve as the Approval Authority for IS under their control#divergent Here's what you'll need:
o Active TS/SCI with Polyo Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is requiredFour (4) years of additional ISSO experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.o Certification Required:
DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IASAE Level 1 or higher is required.o Ten (10) years experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.o Experience is to include at least two (2) of the following areas:
knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementations; communication protocols; and encryption techniques/tools.o Provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program.o Provide support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.o Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.o Assist with the management of security aspects of the information system and performs day-to-day security operations of the system.o Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information.o Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation.o Provide configuration management (CM) For information system security software, hardware, and firmwareManges changes to system and assesses the security impact of those changes.o Prepare and reviews documentation to include System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs)Supports security authorization activities in compliance with NSA/CSS Information System Certification and Accreditation Process (NISCAP) and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP)Preferred:
