Job DescriptionThe selected individual will be responsible for preparation, review, revision, and quality assurance of all activities required to successfully develop and publish program deliverables in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL).
She/he will ensure documents conform to program standards and Data Item Description (DID) requirements.
The ideal candidate will have recent in-depth experience creating templates using styles and formats in MS Word, handling multiple documentation efforts simultaneously, and will have a passion for quality.
Unrelenting self-motivation is essential, and strong focus and attention on detail and task completion is critical! The selected individual will be responsible for formatting documentation to adhere to program template and deliverable requirements, performing quality assurance reviews on contractual documentation, and reviewing and submitting contract deliverables and reports.
She/he must work harmoniously with deliverable authors to ensure customer comments are addressed and the end product is of the utmost quality.
MDOPSRequired Education, Experience, & SkillsMust be exceptionally proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, & Project).
Must have impeccable technical writing and grammar skills (punctuation, spelling, usage).
Must have at least four (4) years of experience preparing in-depth technical publications to include writing, editing, illustration, and quality assurance review.
Must have experience working on a large, technical program in a QA, Technical Writer, or technical role (System Engineer, Software Engineer, Test Engineer, etc.
).
Must have current or recent experience within a technical/cyber security operational organization.
Must have experience successfully establishing positive and productive working relationships with technical staff across all levels.
Must be comfortable working with multiple sets of complex technical documentation simultaneously, in a fast-moving environment.
Must be creative and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be exceptionally organized and have effective planning, prioritizing, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
Must have strong verbal and written communications skills.
Must be committed to adopting and adhering to best practices.
Must be capable of performing high quality work both independently and with a team.
MDOPSPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's or Master's degree in a Technical, Writing, or related discipline, and at least 12 years of relevant experience.
Multi-year experience writing/reviewing technical documentation following DoD standards.
Current, extensive experience with advanced features of MS Word.
Experience in graphic design.
Direct, in-depth experience working with multi-disciplinary technical development teams.
Experience working on an Agile program and team.

This range is based on our market pay structures.
However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
