Senior Hardware Design Engineer with Security Clearance
Senior Hardware Design EngineerHybrid - Fort Meade or Annapolis Junction Top Secret clearance - SCI eligible I am working with a leading cyber security consultancy who are looking to add a Senior hardware design engineer to their client in a hybrid capacity based in either Fort Meade or Annapolis JunctionTo be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and enhancing new and existing products and processes.- Analyze designs to ensure cost efficiency, manufacturability, and reliability.- Coordinate with engineering team to ensure project completion.- Implement designs using ASIC or FPGA tools.- Document design processes and flows.- Integrate new tools and libraries into the design environment.- Collaborate with vendors to address design challenges.- Perform reverse engineering tasks on electronic components.- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
Qualifications:
- 12 years of experience in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design or reverse engineering.- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.- Alternatively, 5 additional years of hardware design engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degreeSkills Required:
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and assembly language.- Experience with Verilog or VHDL.- Familiarity with FPGA designPreferred Skills:
- Knowledge of digital EDA tool algorithms.- Experience with hypervisor/container development and RoT techniques.- Familiarity with firmware-level code and FPGA physical design.- Understanding of device characterization and ASIC analog/digital designIf you are interested in finding out more please apply below and I will be in contact to discuss further.
