Software development engineer positions require a depth and breadth of knowledge in design and development, experience with agile methodologies, proficiency in a high-level language, and experience building highly scalable systems involving distributed services and persistent storage.

Key job responsibilitiesWe seek to simplify the experience of sharing data using AWS when compliance, security, or distrust preclude conventional sharing options.
In this role, as part of an agile team, you will design, build, and launch new AWS products and services that help customers securely exchange data.

As a Software Development Engineer on the AWS ADC teams, you will:
- Build new capabilities to help customers securely exchange data.
- Design systems that ensure all parts of the service operate effectively with each other.
- Identify opportunities for optimization to make the service more efficient and cost effective.
- Interact directly with AWS customers to understand how to best meet their needs.
- Collaborate with peers to evaluate requirements and technologies that close the gap between customer needs and service functionality.
- Directly contribute to designing and building cutting-edge distributed systems with visible impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of our customers.

- Share your knowledge as you help mentor and coach other developers on our team.

This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance or higher.
The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
