Linux Developer/Integration Engineer III Position Location :
This position is onsite in Annapolis Junction, MDDaily Responsibilities :
oConducts research in design, development, testing and utilization of electronic data processing softwareoDesigns, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutionsoConducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial softwareoDetermines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systemsoEnsures software standards are metoAnalyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraintsoConfers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfacesoDesigns, develops and modifies software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of designoCoordinates software system installations and monitors equipment functioning to ensure specifications are metRequired Education/Certification:

oPerform Systems Integration Engineering and Implementation services across the enterprise for hardware, software, and applicationsoCoordinate all design and integration activities for IT services to ensure consistency and business focusoAnalyze the effectiveness and proper functioning of secure and resilient IT infrastructures, environments, applications and data/information resources and capability and make recommendations for improvementoExperience in Infrastructure/Datacenter engineering and integration for both physical and virtual infrastructure hosting Linux systems oProven experience with Experience with VMware technology suite and Linux Required Clearance :
oMust possess an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
