This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance2HB Incorporated is seeking a Senior Cloud System Administrator in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MDSenior Linux System Administrator to perform functions in a dynamic and operational environment supporting cloud-based repositoriesA successful candidate for this position has experience working with large Hadoop and Accumulo based clusters and interfacing with hardware, software, security, and network teamsExperience with Bash, Python, and configuration management tools such as Puppet preferredResponsibilities include monitoring systems and resolving or escalating network and data flow alerts for cloud systems hardware, software or network issuesExperience with large Hadoop and Accumulo based clusters sustaining a strong background in troubleshooting operational system issues as they arise requiredPerformance in a fast-paced mission environment where requirements change on a daily basis due to operational and world eventsAdditional responsibilities include the following:
o Monitor system health o Troubleshoot system problems o Maintain storage systems o Interface with external teams for hardware, network, and infrastructure support o Provide after-hours on-call/call-in support o Ensure system security requirements are satisfied o Participate in engineering discussions o Create/maintain system scripts o Patch/upgrade system o Administer user accounts o Maintain hardware inventory This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
