Software Integration Engineer, Level 4 with Security Clearance

The Software Integration Engineer shall be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning COTS, GOTS, and FOSS software products, libraries and packages in a Linux HPC environmentRequirements:
o Experience using the Linux CLIo Experience developing scripts using Bash/Pythono Experience performing Linux System Administration tasks including operation system configuration, software installation, file systems and network systemso Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex integration issues, collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and various technical teamso Experience with IaC concepts and automation tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, and Chefo Experience with Red Hat Satellite infrastructure system management softwareo Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and DevOps tools including GitLab CIo Familiar with software frameworks used for searching, monitoring, and analyzing big data such as Splunk and Elastic Stacko Experience with Prometheus event monitoring and alertingo Experience with metrics visualization technologies such as Grafana and Kibana Desired Skills:
o Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence Education and
Experience:
o Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least ten (10) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
o or five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least ten (10) years of demonstrable experience.
o Or an industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experienceo Or a Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experienceTop Reasons to Work at Independent Software:
