CACI has several exciting positions for Data Scientists in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.
Employer provided relocation package available, and there is also the potential for working out of a SCIF location in Northern Virginia, and other SCIF locations TBD.
In this position, you will work independently to build analytical models that identify patterns of anomalous behavior in real-world data and inform the identification of attack paths for DoD systems.
You will analyze data and requirements collected and developed by your team to build notional cyberattack paths.
This is ground-breaking work in the development of analytics and identification of attack paths for threat assessment on DoD weapons systems.
This work provides an exciting opportunity for you to leverage your creativity and ultimately contribute to the soundness of current and future system designs and implementations.
You will have an opportunity to merge your skills with that of other data scientists, systems engineers, systems security engineers, and other teammates to ensure the customer's systems are always mission ready.

Qualifications:
Current TS/SCI with active polygraph will be requiredFor a Level 2 Data Scientist the following is required:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline (eg, statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, or computer science) Five (5) yearsof experience analyzing datasets and developing analyticsFive (5) years of experience programming with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB.
A Master's degree can be substituted for two (2) years of experienceA PhD can be substituted for three years of experienceFor a Level 3 Data scientist the following is required:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline (eg, statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, or computer science) A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in two or more of the following:
designing/implementing machine learning, data mining, advanced analytical algorithms, advanced statistical analysis, artificial intelligence, or software engineering with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB.
A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline can be substituted for two (2) years of experienceA Doctoral Degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline can be substituted for four (4) years of experienceWhat We Can Offer You:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
