Job summaryAWS Ground Station is a fully managed global Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS) that allows our customers easy and cost-effective satellite control, ingest and process satellite data, and innovate with other AWS Services.
It provides satellite customers ground station services with no ground station infrastructure commitments, usage-based per-minute pricing, self-service scheduling, and a global network of ground stations in close proximity to AWS Regions so customers can access AWS services, infrastructure and global network within milliseconds of downlinking data from their satellite.

Work on a disruptive service that's still in its early stagesSolve challenging problems that will revolutionize satellite connectivity in the cloudWork for a recognized leader in supporting space customers with cloud computingHave direct impact on hundreds, possibly thousands, of users of AWS Ground StationIn this role you will work across the infrastructure, hardware, and software, and product teams to manage requirements, scope and delivery of worldwide AWS Ground Station locations.
You will represent the service architecture and technical needs across Amazon.
You will assess risks, anticipate issues, overcome technical obstacles and make difficult trade-off decisions to drive deployment goals and meet our customer commitments.
Successful candidates will have a strong technical background, be detail oriented, and have excellent problem-solving abilities.
You will represent program status to senior leadership.
Your program management expertise and operational excellence will influence teams' decisions and drive secure and scaleable solutions.
You should be passionate about delivering great customer experiences and changing the way satellite operators communicate with their spacecraft.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
