The Senior Systems Engineer provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. They provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. In addition, the SE configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Qualifications:
The Systems Engineer should meet the following education and experience requirements:
- Fourteen (14) years system engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity within the Federal Government is required. - Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (substitute for 5 years additional experience) Must have skill set:
Installation, setup, configuration, tests, troubleshooting - Windows and Active Directory (AD) SME - Group Policy (GP) - DNS - DHCP - Domain Controller (DC) - Windows Server Update Servers (WSUS) - Roaming User Profiles - Certificate Authority (CA) server - WIN 2012, 2016, 2019 - Windows desktop environment Desired Skills:
3-5 year's
Experience:
- Centrify:
setup, configuration and use - Self motivated - Teamwork/collaboration focused - Minimal supervision needed
Salary Range:
$100K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
