Oracle's National Security Group has a need for multiple Linux Systems Administrators supporting the Intelligence community in Annapolis Junction, MD and Reston, VA.

System hardeningPreparation for penetration and vulnerability testingSystem Monitoring & Health monitoring & TroubleshootingUse of customer?s:
software repositories, authentication services, network services, COOP facilities, SSP & asset management systemsFluent in:
Bash/Perl/etc.
scriptingPuppetCisco Switch management/configurationExperience with installation/management of:
Apache Tomcat, NiFi, Java, BrowsersAwareness of:
Oracle ZFS storage appliance management/configurationOracle ExadataJira, Confluence, Git/software configuration managementDockerProfessional skills:
Effective communications skills & documentation skillsAbility to work with large team of developersAbility to manage a small team of administratorsWillingness to take directionWillingness to interact with customer watch facilitiesUnderstanding/appreciation of customer mission requirementsTen (10) years of business or related IT experience is required.
Bachelor's degree in a business or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Two (2) years of additional business or related IT experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
